$ACAC Merging w/ Playstudios - Undervalued MGM-Backed Online Gaming/Gambling/Return to Normal Play?
Wondering what everyone's thoughts are regarding Playstudios merging with ACAC. Seems to have oddly dropped below even where it was when it was in the rumour stages. Here are some of the investment notes I've gleaned from my research. Please help provide more bear (or bull) cases if possible! Summary ⦁ Online gaming company with major backing and investments from MGM Group, Blackrock, Activision Blizzard, and Neuberger Berman ⦁ Playstudios' game profiles include: myVEGAS Slots, POP! Slots, myKONAMI Slots, myVEGAS Blackjack, and Kingdom Boss + myVEGAS Bingo coming soon ⦁ >100M lifetime app downloads ⦁ 4.2M monthly active users From PlayStudios investor deck ⦁ 56 minutes playtime/day (more than TikTok, YouTube, etc. as per Skillz' research), fairly comparable to Skillz as well (their data below) Skillz data on minutes per user per day - Playstudios is 56 minutes/day ⦁ Unique loyalty rewards program that engages sticky user base by providing free rooms, meals, drinks, at many Las Vegas resorts such as Bellagio, Aria, MGM, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, etc., as well as exclusive gambling room access in select casinos ⦁ Valued at $1B enterprise value at NAV ⦁ Using capital injection to develop new apps, M&A with other gaming companies Bull Cases ⦁ SPAC Management group is quite stacked and very heavy on online gaming, and gambling sectors ⦁ Co-CEO Edward King has experience at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director and Global Head of Gaming Investment Banking ⦁ Co-CEO Dan Fetters also has experience at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director of M&A ⦁ EVP of Acquisitions Chris Grove is a partner at Eilers & Krejcik Gaming ⦁ Chairman Jim Murren former CFO, Chairman, and CEO of MGM for over 20 years (12 years as Chairman, CEO) and led the recovery of MGM post-financial crisis. Currently also Chairman of COVID 19 Response in Neveda ⦁ Other Board members include the President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox and Chief Exec. of Fenway Sports Management, Senior VP of Monumental Sports and Entertainment, former CEO of ShooWin, and FoundeCEO of Sydell Group (lifestyle hotel chain) ⦁ Playstudios exec. team also all have long history of gaming, and gambling sectors ⦁ TAM of mobile gaming only set to continue to grow YOY ⦁ Loyalty program appears to be very sticky for Vegas visitors, as well as offering a clear value add for even non-gamers to participate (free drinks, hotel stays, etc.), and causing a virtous cycle from user app engagement -> real-life reward redemption -> resort app offers -> and back Virtuous Cycle - from PlayStudios investor deck ⦁ Undervalued in terms of PS ratios comp. to other mobile gaming companies (Zynga, Playtika, etc.), and EBITDA basis ⦁ History of strong app development and revenue growth without major capital injection ⦁ History of profitable business model, stronger revenues than a Skillz ($270M for Playstudios v. $255M for Skillz) Revenue Growth and DAU Chart - from PlayStudios investor deck ⦁ All apps have strong user experience and reviews are exceptional ⦁ Very large amount of shares set to exit lock-up 12 months after de-SPAC ⦁ During the lockdowns, the global market for social casino games grew 24%, indicating a strong hedge play against another locked down economy ⦁ Massive list of partners Partners List - from PlayStudios investor deck ⦁ Very valuable subset of audience From PlayStudios investor deck Bear Cases ⦁ Perhaps one of many entrants into an industry of very high competition ⦁ EBITDA near-term is not super strong ⦁ Some SPAC cash usage not ideal ($150M going into founder's pockets) ⦁ Not in a very hype sector like EV, Space, etc. TLDR: I think Playstudios is under-the-radar, competitively differentiated, and undervalued comp. to other mobile gaming companies right now at ~$11.20/share, and see near-term upside as a long-hold given the major partners and big names behind it (MGM primarily, Activision Blizzard secondarily). Disclosure: 5000 shares of ACAC Disclaimer: I am not a financial advisor... do your own due diligence.
Konami was dragged to consumer court by disgruntled fanboys. This was the transcript as it followed: Judge (J): So what do we have here? Disgruntled fanboy (DF): Konami cheated me! J: how? DF: I spent 21k coins and didn't get IM Viera J: 21k coins?! Jesus, how many dollars is that? What do you have to say for yourself Konami? Konami (K): the odds are predetermined. It's like lottery except we state the odds before hand. DF: Then why didn't I get my IM Viera? Konami ( chuckles): the odds weren't in your favour. Haven't you watched hunger games? DF: HOW DARE YOU MOCK ME!! You cheating, lying, piece of... J: hold on now, calm down everyone. There is real money involved. So how much does the game cost? K: it's a free game. J: yeah I know about these free games, you guys initiate players and then force them to purchase coins. K: we give 500 free coins per week. You can choose to purchase coins if you want to, it's not compulsory. J: Yeah I know about these coins, they won't be sufficient for anything. K: You can actually buy a top quality player for 100 coins. J: but this kid says he sank 21k coins without getting a single player? K: No he didn't get one particular player. He would have gotten 210 other players though. J : aha ! I got it. That one player must have been game changer....like a pay to win. Konami: Hardly, our game is very balanced. No player can influence the game completely. Last week, for example, this boy got his ass thrashed by a 3.5k team while he had a 4.3k team. We do not support pay to win. Judge (confused, looking at the disgruntled fan): What is your problem, boy? DF: I SPENT 21K COINS!! 21K! And didn't get IM Viera. Konami: Sure. But we never guaranteed it. It was a chance you took. Judge: Why won't you give him Viera? All these little things go a long way in increasing the goodwill. Konami: He has Viera. We gave it in a box draw sometime back. He wants IM Viera. He actually has another DMF with similar stats as well. Judge (getting more confused) : okay. But what about IM thing then? Give him some IMs Konami: We gave IM Maradonna to him, one of the highest rated SS, but he doesn't value it. We gave another IM player in a box draw. Plus he got other IM players from that 21k he spent for Viera. He doesn't value them either. Judge: Why create this lottery system at all then? Just give people what they want for money? Konami: We want to prevent this game becoming pay to win. If everyone gets what they want for money then some players will have unmatched teams. That's why we keep throwing in good featured players as well. But we also want to pay salaries and grow as a company, otherwise we won't be able to improve the game. Judge (looking angrily at disgruntled fanboy) : What the hell is wrong with you? DF: I WANT IM VIERA!!
I've been playing PES since the original version for PS2 and only missed a couple of versions since then (2020 and 2015 if I am not mistaken). I've been committed to this series for this long mostly due to the nostalgia of the older versions, classic players and the top-notch Master League mode (especially PES 3 and PES 6)... those are my best memories and today I am deleting the game and I'll leave it for good. There are a lot of reasons that lead to this decisions but there's only one way to sum it up: FRUSTRATION. Frustration and the fact that in-game frustration started to translate to real life. Recently that in-game frustration started to affect my mood and my relationship with my girlfriend. My frustration comes - like most of the players - from the reward system, the toxic users and most importantly the so-called handicap or Konami Effect. It's really frustrating when you start doubting yourself whether you win or lose a game because the system always interferes with the gameplay. It makes no sense when you win a game by 5-1 against a higher ranked player and you're strikers score in every chance or you're defenders look like they have infinite stamina and intercept everything... to immediately be crushed by a low ranked player and your attackers miss 6 shots on goal and don't move according your tactics or your defenders can't intercept a single pass (with the same tactic and same players with full stamina). It doesn't feel satisfying when you win and it's frustrating when you lose. Not even mentioning the toxic users... I've played a lot of online games but I never had to denounce anyone because of insults until PES 2021. I honestly think the online system in PES2021 it's designed in a similar way to a casino, to take out individual skill and replace it by chance, create frustration and consequently addiction to spend more and more hours trying to fight a rigged system and to prove you aren't as good/ as bad as the game makes you think. PS: I don't care if people say I am whining... I just wanted to get this out of my chest and tell other people that you should quit the game if you feel like it's starting to affect your mood or your relationships.
GMBL Esports Entertainment Group starting to make some big moves
Newly-public Esports Entertainment (GMBL) offers the most versatile and transparent wagering platform in the $3.6 billion esports gambling market. With amazing news out today: Esports Entertainment Group Signs First-of-its-Kind Agreement with LA Kings and LA Galaxy to be their Official Esports Tournament Provider Link: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/esports-entertainment-group-signs-first-120000401.html WHY Esports Entertainment Group? ➢The esports fan base is expanding rapidly and expected to reach 590 million by 2022; global gross revenues are estimated at $3.6 billion. ➢ Esports Entertainment is well-positioned to capture market growth. It has online gambling licenses in nearly 150 jurisdictions, a best-in-class wagering platform, hundreds of marketing affiliate partnerships, and a management team with deep industry experience. ➢ The company added UK and Irish gambling licenses through a July acquisition and acquired its first US license in August through a partnership with a New Jersey casino operator. ➢ Esports Entertainment has nearly $12 million of cash to fund acquisitions, platform development, and tournament hosting. Management is guiding for FY:21 revenues of $13 million. https://preview.redd.it/fyc0euvxdws51.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=ce7a334fd233a1126c6e75f1061efa17cb3a2423 ➢Massive esports audience and favorable demographics. The fan base for esports is expanding rapidly and expected to reach 590 million by 2022. Audience growth has been especially strong this year due to the coronavirus lockdown, which has put traditional sports on pause and attracted millions of new fans to online esports tournaments and events. Advertisers and sponsors have been quick to embrace esports as well, not only because of audience size but also due to attractive demographics. The average esports fan is young (approximately 26 years of age), relatively affluent (1/3 have incomes exceeding $90,00), and geographically diverse. Even non-endemic (i.e. products or services not related to esports) brands have begun sponsoring these events. Past sponsors of Esports Entertainment events have included Red Bull, KFC, Microsoft, Lenovo, Activision, and Konami, among others. ➢Highly skilled management team. The company’s management team has deep online gambling, IT and esports experience. CEO Grant Johnson has led the company since 2013 and CFO Daniel Marks previously served as CFO of Argyll Entertainment for five years. ➢ Wagering platform advantage. Esports Entertainment has developed a proprietary online wagering platform that offers better odds and greater transparency than competitor platforms as well as a gambling experience that feels intuitively fairer. The company plans to transition its recently acquired Argyll business to its in-house platform, a move that will generate over $1.0 million of annual cost savings. ➢ Gambling license worldwide, first US license secured. The company secured a gaming license from the Malta Gaming Authority in May that enables it to accept wagers on its website from residents of nearly 150 jurisdictions. The Malta license for online pool betting has a 10-year term and is renewable. The recent acquisition of Argyll Entertainment gives E https://preview.redd.it/pz3y6twydws51.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c04905768435d7c52c5e6850b98340a12bf43ed The difference between this company to Draftkings or Penn is that the company will be running its own events that you will be able to gamble on. Be the first mover and have a look!

I'm happy to look at lists, but these are my priority wants.
If you like casino games but don't want to risk your money, this section of our website dedicated to free online casino games is for you. Most of the games available here are Slot online machines, as they are more popular, but there are other types of games as well. Try gambling for free before playing for real money or just have fun playing your favorite online casino games in demo mode without any risk and without having to register or download anything. Before you start, you should read our answers to the following frequently asked questions: What free casino games can I play here? From which providers are the games available? Do I need Flash for the games to work? Why can't I play any of the games? How can I play these games for real money? Free casino games faq Types of casino games you can play for free on our website Slots are by far the most popular online casino games. Therefore, most of the games you will find here are free agen slot online to play for fun. However, we also have other types of casino games: Free slots Online roulette Online blackjack Video poker Little by little we will be expanding our list of free casino games. Right now the slot machines stand out, but the idea is to add other games such as bingo, baccarat, craps or scratch cards. If you only want to see a specific type of casino game, use the "Game Type" filter and select the desired category. Filters should help you find the game you are looking for as quickly as possible. List of available game providers As I have already mentioned, we are doing our best to expand the list of online casino games on our website. However, there are game providers that do not provide as many facilities as others. For this reason, you will not find all the most popular judi slot online games here, although we have done our best to include the most popular games and providers on the market. Here is a list of the providers whose games you will find on the Casino.guru website: NetEnt: Play NetEnt slots for free and try the demo mode of popular games like Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest or Jack and the Beanstalk. Most NetEnt games use HTML5, so they can also be played on mobile devices. IGT: Play IGT online slots for free and try classics like Cleopatra or Davinci Diamonds. Novomatic: We all know Sizzling Hot, right? Well, here you can enjoy it for free and play other Novomatic slots without risk. Aristocrat - Play Queen of the Nile and other Aristocrat online slots for free. Microgaming: This company will always be associated with the Mega Moolah slot game, having broken the record for the largest online progressive jackpot prize several times. However, on our website you can play hundreds of Microgaming slots for free. Playtech: Age of Gods is Playtech's flagship series of slot games. Here you can try them all for free, as well as other Playtech games. WMS - WMS games and slots are very popular in the United States, although they also have a following in Europe and other markets. Try the WMS slots for free through our website. Konami - Japanese Konami slots are well known for a feature that can provide you with hundreds of free spins. Try Konami slots online for free. Merkur: Merkur slots have become popular mainly thanks to their presence in land-based casinos in Germany and other European countries, although you can also try them online for free. Yggdrasil: This is a young company, but this does not detract from the quality of their games one iota. Yggdrasil slots do not usually require Flash because they use HTML5, which will allow you to try their games for free from your mobile phone or tablet. Kajot: it is a very popular provider in the Czech Republic and Slovakia since its games are present in physical casinos in these two countries. Try Kajot online slots for free. Of course, the list does not end here. You can play slots and games from many other providers. Use the "Game Provider" filter to view only online casino games from selected providers. Technologies needed to use our free casino games and slots Despite less and less use, Flash technology is still required to enjoy most of the games on our website. That said, more and more games are being created or adapted using HTML5. These casino games tend to have fewer operating problems, do not consume as many resources and, above all, can be enjoyed from a mobile device. Note: Flash is a somewhat old multimedia software platform that is used (still today) to produce animations, games, applications, and much more. Although it is very useful for creating online casino games, its many disadvantages are causing the rise of new technologies, such as HTML5. If you accessed the Casino.guru website from a mobile device or PC without Flash Player, please use the filter "Compatible with mobile devices". In this way, only casino games that do not require the use of Flash will appear. Casino games only available to players from certain countries If you can't play a game, it may be due to usage restrictions based on your location. Some free slots and casino games are only available to users in certain countries. If you live in one of the restricted countries, too bad. In any case, you still have a wide variety of games that you can play for free. How to Play Online Casino Games for Real Money If you liked any of the games and want to try it for real money, find a casino that meets your requirements and allows you to play that game. When selecting a game, you will see the casinos that offer it at the bottom of the window. However, don't be too hasty when choosing your casino. Some casinos are much better than others, which is why we have spent hours and hours preparing and refining our casino reviews in order to provide you with all the important information you need. Looking for a reliable casino that will pay you winnings if you are lucky enough to get them? Our reviews will help you find a safe and reputable casino to trust. If you are just getting started in the world of online casinos, read the beginner's guide and my detailed instructions on How to choose an online casino. In this way, you will have all the necessary information to make a good decision. Free casino games faq How can you play slots and other casino games for free? It is very easy to play slots and other casino games in our free games section. You don't have to download or install any programs. Just follow these simple instructions: check the list of games or select the one you want to play, touch it and the game will download, ready for you to enjoy. Then you just have to press the "spin" button if you play a slot machine, place your bet or start the round if you opt for a table game. Can you win real money at free casino games? No, it is not possible. Free casino games are roughly the same as you can find in online casinos, but without betting real money. When you load any of these games, you receive a specified amount of virtual currency that has no real value. You can play and increase your balance, but you can never withdraw the money accumulated in these games. If you want to play for free and have a chance to win real money, we suggest you check our list of no deposit bonuses, which contains free money and spins bonus offers. These can be achieved by creating a new casino account and, if you win a prize, you can withdraw the money obtained. Can I play free casino games on a phone or tablet? Yes. Most of the games in our database use HTML5 technology, which is compatible with mobile devices, allowing you to play these games on any device that has a modern browser, including mobile phones (both iPhone and Android) and tablets. If you want to see only games compatible with mobile devices, use the "Mobile Devices" filter in the free games section. Do I have to download a program to play? No, you don't have to download anything. All the games in our database work from the browser and do not require any download or installation. However, some of the older games require the Flash player, so you may have to download it if you want to enjoy these games and do not have Flash installed on your computer. If you are using a mobile device, you will not have to install anything, since the Flash player is not compatible with these devices. What types of casino games are available? Our free casino games database contains slots, roulette games, blackjack, baccarat, craps, bingo, keno, scratch cards, video poker, and other types of games. The vast majority of games are slot machines, which is completely understandable if we consider that they are the most popular online casino games. Free roulette is also quite popular. What game providers can I find at Casino Guru? Our database contains the most popular casino game providers. You can find games from companies like NetEnt, Playtech, Microgaming, Big Time Gaming, Novomatic, etc., but also titles from lesser-known providers like Kajot, EGT or Amatic. In other words, if there is a free version of the game from a certain provider, it is more than likely that we have it in our database. You can apply the filters you want or use the search function to find what interests you the most. Do the free games work the same as the real money versions? The vast majority of free casino games have the same behavior as the real money versions. They have the same symbols on the reels, the same pay table and they work in an identical way. This is very important for players, as free games allow you to try them out before betting for real money, and if they had different mechanics, they could be misleading. However, there are some exceptions. Some game providers allow casinos to choose between different versions of the same game, each with a different RTP. This means that the game you bet on for real money can theoretically have a lower RTP than the free version. Still, this is not something that affects all providers, but it is worth keeping in mind. We suggest you check the RTP at the online casino of your choice, if only to make sure.
MAME 0.219 arrives today, just in time for the end of February! This month we’ve got another piece of Nintendo Game & Watch history – Pinball – as well as a quite a few TV games, including Dream Life Superstar, Designer’s World, Jenna Jameson’s Strip Poker, and Champiyon Pinball. The previously-added Care Bears and Piglet’s Special Day TV games are now working, as well as the big-endian version of the MIPS Magnum R4000. As always, the TV games vary enormously in quality, from enjoyable titles, to low-effort games based on licensed intellectual properties, to horrible bootlegs using blatantly copied assets. If music/rhythm misery is your thing, there’s even a particularly bad dance mat game in there. On the arcade side, there are fixes for a minor but long-standing graphical issue in Capcom’s genre-defining 1942, and also a fairly significant graphical regression in Seibu Kaihatsu’s Raiden Fighters. Speaking of Seibu Kaihatsu, our very own Angelo Salese significantly improved the experience in Good E-Jan, and speaking of graphics fixes, cam900 fixed some corner cases in Data East’s innovative, but little-known, shoot-’em-up Boogie Wings. Software list additions include the Commodore 64 INPUT 64 collection (courtesy of FakeShemp) and the Spanish ZX Spectrum Load’N’Run collection (added by ICEknight). New preliminary CPU cores and disassemblers include IBM ROMP, the NEC 78K family, Samsung KS0164 and SSD Corp’s Xavix 2. As always, you can get the source and 64-bit Windows binary packages from the download page.

It is easy for online skill-based gamers to get ahead of themselves. They mostly do it by either underestimating the skill level of their opponents and overestimating their skill level or overestimating the degree of control they have over the outcome of the game. For instance, online poker players don’t have control over what cards they receive from the dealer as well as the cards that their challengers will receive from the dealer.
Since the outcome in all types of betting, which also includes the skill-based type, is not certain, players must stay calm and patient. This is to make sure that gaming and gambling remains a fun and safe activity. However confident you are with your skills, sometimes a loss is part of the game, and you should know when to quit. On the same note, even if you are on a winning streak, you should play responsibly because the next minute, tables could turn!
Is Skill-based Gaming Taking Over?
For many years, the result of play on electronic gaming machines such as video poker and slots were a hundred percent random. This means that absolutely nothing influenced the outcome, whether you have skills or not. It was just pure, cold, hard randomness. However, this changed in 2016 when a Nevada law allowed machines with an element of skill. By 2017, such machines started to flock into the casinos slowly. https://roulettessgames.com/james-bond-roulette-strategy/ Now, other than games like poker, slot machines and video poker developers are rolling out versions that favour an element of skill as well. Skill-based casinos have flourished across the globe, driven by the following gaming companies:

I'm also happy to look at lists, but these are my priority wants.
[USA-NJ] [H] Games for lots of systems, many loose boxes and manuals, Amiibo & collectibles [W] Various games, boxes and manuals including Infinite Space, Trine Series 1-3, Flinthook, Octopath Traveler
Hi all, I have two things I'm looking for at the moment: 1) some boxes, manuals and loose games to complete some games I currently have incomplete, and 2) some high value games for various consoles that are my priority wants right now. In cases where I am looking for incomplete stuff, I may also be willing to trade for complete stuff. I will try to describe everything I have as best I can, and pictures are either linked or available on request. In turn, I am looking for items that are complete and in good shape, but I am somewhat flexible with cardboard box games. Also, some of the items I have for trade are hard trades, so please do not be offended if I turn down a fair value trade. p.s. I have 70+ confirmed trades! p.p.s. when I say CIB I mean Complete in Box, that includes all booklets, not just manual. If something I have is not complete I will try to communicate that. On the flip side, if you have something and you are not sure if it is complete, I am happy to check for you!
